There are two easy steps in our dental implant surgery process.

The first step is to place a titanium implant in the perfect place in your jaw. To allow the implant to completely heal, the implant will be covered with gum tissue. Over time, it will enable the implant to integrate into the jaw bone. The integration process takes about four to six months. In the second step, either a crown or a denture will be attached to the implant. Implants can either be attached to a full or partial dentures. Same-Day Dental Implants

Sometimes the dental extraction and the implant placement can be done in the same appointment. It is possible, however, that a socket preservation procedure will be necessary first, during which the tooth is extracted, and bone graft material is placed in the extraction socket, and the bone is then allowed to heal. When the extraction site is too large, the implant is placed in two steps. A bone graft or socket preservation is done followed by the placement of the implant.

What happens if a dental implant fails
